COMPETITION 2006 |

| 19 herds from all over the
Westcountry,entered this years Herd Competition. The Judge
was Alex McLaren from the famous Aynho Herd in Northants. Mr McLaren
spent 4 days in the Westcountry, travelling from Penzance in Cornwall
right the way to Calne and Salisbury in Wiltshire. The Herds were split
into three groups, Small:
under 12 cows, Medium:
13-39 cows and large:
40+ cows. The results were announced at the Luncheon at
The Tiverton Hotel on 5th November. |
